Rogards office supply and furniture store now has a sole owner, but she’s a part of a family that has helped run the downtown Champaign business for decades.

On Aug. 1, Tuscola native and Tolono resident Tonya Horn purchased the shares of former co-owners Chad and Catherine Hoffman and became the single owner for the 110-year-old company at 214 S. Walnut St.

Horn says that Rogards has been part of her blood all of her life.

Her father, Terry Poindexter, had worked for Rogards since the late 1970s and purchased it with some business partners in the 1990s before selling the business in 2011 to Horn and the Hoffmans.
