From the City of Urbana:
For your information, an Urbana Champaign Sanitary District (UCSD) sanitary sewer interceptor line collapsed earlier this week at the east leg of the Windsor Road and Philo Road intersection. The sanitary sewer line has been patched by UCSD contractors but the condition of the line will require further repairs which will extend the closure of the north leg of Philo Road approximately two weeks.
Please note that our road contractor, Stark Excavating, is still working on the closed section of Windsor Road between Race Street and Philo Road even though they aren’t able to work at the Windsor Road and Philo Road intersection until the sanitary sewer line issue is resolved.
