There will be a ground-breaking ceremony for the Olympian Drive Extension project on August 12th, 2014. The ceremony will take place at 2:00pm at the corner of Olympian Drive and Apollo Drive in Champaign.
The project will create an east-west link between I-57 and Lincoln Avenue. The Olympian Drive project is designed to offer a more direct route for traffic between I-57 and an industrial-zoned area north of Urbana.
